That's right. Click, Clack, Ring will cease to exist by the end of the next week. The thing is, I'm not getting anything out of this, and I'm just not that interested in typewriters anymore. It seems like more of a job than a hobby. I'd just like you guys to know that I'm pretty sure I have the best viewers in the world. As always, feel free to comment down below, and have a good day. This is the end of an era. But! Don't be surprised to see me pop up again on the Internet in to time. You see, this isn't the end of the end.

For the last time, (it really hurts to say this), Stay Classy. Godspeed!
Well, this "new post" screen is a sight for sore eyes. I haven't posted anything in a few months, and a lot has happened since then. I graduated from the 8th grade, my brother is moving to a new apartment, and I have become addicted to Doctor Who. Over the past few days, I have watched hours upon hours of season 5 and 6 on Netflix, and have started speaking in a Scottish accent, and calling myself "the Doctor". I want a bowtie now, too, because, after all, "bowties are cool". (People who don't watch Doctor Who have no idea what I'm talking about).

Aside from Doctor Who, and aside from the things I mentioned before, not much has changed. In my previous post, I described how I am going to try to write a book, and post it chapter by chapter, up on this blog. Now I need help with the main character's name. A description of the character is young, adventerous, and a bit smart-alecky. (I just realized I sound like an old-timer using that term.) And I was hoping maybe some of you could help me out here. So, if you have any ideas, post them down below!
It's been a while hasn't it? Right now, I'm sitting in my brother's apartment in upstate New York watching "The Guns of Navarone", a classic starring Gregory Peck, Anthony Quinn, David Niven, and co. Tomorrow is Memorial Day, so I thought I would watch a war themed movie. Not much to complain about in this flick. The only thing I find unrealistic is that their boat is totally unscathed after the Nazi boat right next to them explodes. Divine intervention or movie effects? Probably movie effects. For English class, we have to write a research paper. I was looking for good topics off the top of my head, and I came up with the "Black and Tans" who were the British police in Ireland in the late-1910s and early-1920s. They were known for destroying civilians' property sometimes, worst of all, the civilian's lives.

Sadly, the New York Rangers' season is over, most likely due to John Tortorella's inept coaching abilities. So now that that is over, I've looked to my cousin to teach me about the world's most popular sport---- soccer, or football if you want to be exotic. (Unless, of course, you're reading this from somewhere that's not America in which case the term "football" would not be exotic to you at all.) I basically know nothing about the sport, but I played FIFA 13, and I basically fell in love with the game.

Still, my journeys into the depths of the Typosphere have been few and far between. And even when I do take time to look at the Typosphere, I quickly lose interest.

An idea that I had a few weeks ago just sprang into my mind: I will try to write a book, and I will post each chapter one by one. Whaddaya think? Post your opinions down below and I will reply with a quick response.
I hate this. When the Boston Marathon was bombed yesterday by terrorists, whether they be domestic or not, it got me thinking. It made me think of an episode of the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen's television show in which the former archbishop of New York claims that "co-existing" does not work. And he's absolutely right. All evils, past and present, have pleaded for "co-existence". They do this, because they are not yet strong enough to strike. They "play it safe" in a way, not challenging the "Americas" of history. (When I say Americas, I mean the evil's enemy, Like the Axis versus the Allies). We "co-existed" with the Nazis in the 1930's while they planned to literally take over the world, and eliminate every non-Nazi race on the planet, like Jews, Catholics, Protestants etc. We "co-existed" with the communists in Russia during the 1960's and 1970's while they persecuted anti-socialist groups in Poland and Germany. And we "co-existed" with Al-Qaeda and the Taliban pre-9/11 and continue to do so even after the horrid actions they took against our country with little to no justice because beaurocrats didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings. If we continue to "co-exist", the country will be eaten from the inside out with disgusting acts of terror such as the one yesterday.
I have a confession to make.

I'm confessing that I have been diagnosed with severe laziness lately. I have not typed in such a long time. It's kind of upsetting that I have to push myself to type essays and reports. As you can see, I took a little break from blogging for a little bit. It was all a part of my master plan. Muhahahahah! No, I really planned to take a break, and I must say it feels GOOD to be back! I am going to throw myself into this blog, because the idle mind is the devil's playground, if you catch my drift. (People should really use that more often.) (Along with droppin' a beat). I'm starting to bring back 1970's terminology single-handedly in school and whenever I go out. My ventures into the typosphere lately have been seldom, but I have been looking for Olivetti's lately. The Italians are magicians with design. They also have the best food. (That's hardly debatable). I mean, look at their styling with cars. Ferrari, Lamborghini, the beauties are uncountable. The most beautiful car I have ever seen had Italian styling: the Jensen Interceptor. Now look at that automobile and tell me that's not one of the most beautiful cars you've ever seen! (Another hardly debatable subject). It's English but the styling is unmistakeably Italian. Well, whoever's Italian and reading this, you guys are the best. Sometimes.

Stay oh, so classy.
I decided to upload some pictures because I could, and that I would be making my first typecast! (crowd lets out terrific roar). It will be short but sweet and is down below. I don't have much to talk about, but it doesn't matter. HURRAH! Sorry for the bad quality, but it should be legible. Remember, it only my first of many typecasts! Look at that organized desk! If you don't know, there has been a shooting in a school in Connecticut with an apparent psycho murdering 27 adults and 18 students. On an ironic note, my class watched IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, a timeless classic. I say it's ironic because the ultimate point of the film is that to say no life is a waste, through the life of George Bailey. It is one of my favorite movies, landing in at number two on my list. As for my life in typewriters, let's just say it's really slow. I have been throwing my eyes upon my new want: 1949 Empire Aristocrat. I know basically nothing about it, but I saw a video by Dr. Typewriter about it, and I have been looking for one since. I'm watching a 1980's Peanuts short. Those are never as good as the originals, with too many bad puns and snobby voices. I plan on watching the Lord Of The Rings series and then going to see The Hobbit sometime soon. I saw SKYFALL for the second time again last night. I guess you can tell by my short, choppy sentences that I don't have much to talk about. I guess I'll sign off now.
May all your days be merry and bright! What's up people? Today's Monday, and I thought about making a post. I didn't really feel like making a post yesterday, because I wanted to be with my family. I had a very good Thanksgiving, but not fantastic. (Making myself a half-glass empty today). Today was a little aggravating, with a lot of going on, and just a plain old Monday. Let me put it this way: one does not simply go back to school after four days of Thanksgiving vacation. I'm gonna rant. Why? Because I can. Things I hate:
-when people eat things with their hands that are not meant to be eaten with hands (ex. mashed taters)
-when people take crackers and dip them in peanut butter.
-when people are polar opposites to my political views.
-when my typewriters have to get a new ribbon due a not-so-bright medium-sized child who is around four.
-when people clear their throat constantly.
That's my rant for today, I'll make another post for the extremely eager followers. (Just kidding, about three people read this.)

This afternoon I saw the instant classic, SKYFALL, with my father. As an experienced movie watcher, I professionally give this movie a 9/10, because the vast *NEW* characters and beautiful settings. Not to mention the great acting, and terrific plot. I won't spoil the ending, in case any of you want to go see it, but I will warn you. There is a BIG twist at the end. Do yourself a favor and go see it.
Stay Classy,

Today I went to an Open-House at a high school in Manhattan. (The high-school was Xavier High School. est. 1847). I took the train in, and was surprised by the absurd amount of tourists everywhere. I know I live right next to Manhattan, which houses the majority of the 8-million New Yorkers in the five boroughs. If you don't know the boroughs they are Brooklyn (the best), Staten Island, The Bronx, Queens, and the most well-known, Manhattan. But still, it's October 20th. How many people get off in October? I only get Columbus Day. I know I should help, but the amount of people asking Yorkers how to get to the Empire State Building made me want to ignore any tourists.

It's not that hard! Just look up and follow the giant point in the sky! It's only the second-biggest building in NYC!

But anyway, the open house went okay. The only problem was that there were a VERY big amount of fellow eight-graders there, and the hallways are relatively narrow. But, besides for the body heat, and the waiting behind the ridiculously slow-walking tourist hicks from Indiana wearing I Heart NY

t-shirts, blocking every single passageway around them. (No offense to any NYC tourists, but come on, walk a little faster).

Besides for having no platen knobs,(which is not such a big deal to me), it has been treating me very well. It has helped me with four reports already! The action is one of the smoothest I have had the privilege to own. The touch is okay, but not great. Anyway, here are my ratings of Gunnar.

Touch: 6-10

Smoothness: 8-10

Looks: 7-10

Functionality: 5-10

Overall: 7-10

Well, that's my review of Gunnar. If you disagree, there really is nothing I can do about it. The touch is not my favorite, though I love the way the SHIFT button feels. It is very smooth, probably second in my collection to the '36 Royal DeLuxe, which I've been using much, also.

It looks good, but the orange is very bright and I find it hard to type on when I have a headache. The functionality is not great, because it tends to scoot across the desk when I'm not typing on my desk. I have only used it four times for school because of its cursive typeface. Overall, it is a very good typewriter and is definitely the smallest typer in my collection

I've been at school all week, and Thursday and Friday of last week, but I haven't updated you ever since Wednesday, I think that's when it was. Sitting here with my faithful steed (dog) by my side, I'm going out for a haircut in about 10 minutes, but I am making this post anyway. It only takes about 7 or 8 minutes to make a post anyway...

Here I am after my haircut, it looks okay, but I like my hair longer, better. Today I did the impossible. After missing last week's art class,
I completed one WHOLE painting in just 45 minutes. No sketching, no pencils. Just pure skill. So have any of you ever completed one WHOLE painting in just 45 minutes? Probably not.
Yeah, it's under my arms, and it hurts a bit much when I move my arms in most directions. But, I changed the layout, and what do you think? I sort of like it better. I changed it because the previous format was very common around the world-wide webs. It was nice and all, but I got really tired of it. So. Let me know what you think in the comments down below.
I have a bit of a head cold and I have something with my arms. (they hurt ALOT). But I'm feeling well enough to type, so here comes a sick post. As I said in the previous posts, I bought a Mercedes Superba. What I forgot to mention is that the M key doesn't work. It is still extremely handsome and will be used for decoration temporarily, until I have the chance to bring it to my local repair guy. I'm staying home from school today and am quite happy despite my illnesses. I just watched television on my sofa, ate some soup, and came upstairs to where I am right now, resting in bed. I've been itching to use my '36 Royal DeLuxe, because I haven't in a long time. I've been primarily using my Smith Corona or Hermes.
I really have nothing to do so I'm goingto wrap this up now.
Stay Classy,

And a New Typer!Well, it's Columbus Day, and I am off! Yesterday, in my short vacation in the Pocono Mountains, my aunt, mother, and I went to a charming antique store. It was not like most antique stores, as I do not appreciate most. It had stuff that were actually worthwhile, like polaroid cameras and rotary phones. But as I walked into another room,I started to see a red and black ribbon. Then I saw it. It. A Mercedes Superba that is now mine! I definitely have to do more research on it though. It looks fantastic, the platen is semi hard, but not so hard. But as I was saying, if you don't like it here, leave. Go back to your own country. No offense. Maybe. They tried to scare us. But we rise up stronger. It doesn't matter what race, religion, or color of skin. Latino, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Northern, Southern, English, Irish, Italian. We are all Americans. And we rise up and remember because we ARE the greatest nation in the world. It brought us together, and people are already starting to forget. After that day, American flags were everywhere. Every house. Block after block.

Today is the eleventh anniversary of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Flight 93. As a New Yorker, this affects my family and I tremendously. I've been looking around the typosphere, and unfortunately, nobody has written about this. People compare Pearl Harbor to 9/11,saying that it was the worst attack since it. This was nothing like Pearl Harbor. Al Queda struck us in the heart of our country. They struck us in the best and one of the most populated cities in the world. The reason I say that it was nothing like it, is because in 1940, we were gearing up for war. These were innocent people going to work. People from all over the world, not just Americans were in the buildings that day. I don't know so much about the Pentagon, but I know a heck of a lot about what happened 11 years ago to the day, only a few miles from my house. I live in Brooklyn, but those buildings were so tall, you could see them from Breezy Point. (A beach location on the far side of Brooklyn.)
Today I watched a tear-jerking documentary that my history teacher showed my class. You watch the films, you watch the videos from The people's cameras, and it still doesn't register as real life. It feels like movie. And those who are fortunate enough to live in NYC, or New Jersey for a matter of fact, know what I'm talking about. It just feels so horrible, that you think it can't be real. People were writing messages on the sidewalk like, "The American flag provokes violence." Well I have a message for this people. If you don't like it, leave.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4625678204593997194.post-2802772311915624452012-09-06T13:03:00.001-07:002012-10-10T10:22:42.260-07:00Somber MomentsHey guys, it's a little somber moment for my school and I.
